I MADE IT INTO THE NEWSPAPER!

Please come and see the newspaper article about me being chosen as a finalist by WEGO HEALTH, as a WEGO HEALTH ACTIVIST “UNSUNG HERO”!!

The newspaper reporter and photographer came to my home and they stayed a couple of hours and we had such a great chat! This has been such a great experience for me, and whether I win on Thursday, March 28th, 2013 or not, I feel like a winner! It has been an International contest and there were about 100 people chosen and down to 7 now for finalists. I am one of those 7 finalists’ and I will find out the results tomorrow!  Here is the link to see the article and if you have trouble, then you can scroll down the right side of my blog and go to the link I put there instead!  I hope you enjoy it! Thank you so much!

    2. Your welcome and thank you for following our little blog. Life isn’t always what it seems and thank goodness for blogging, right? In my opinion, it’s such a creative outlet and, as a stay at home mom of two little ones, it helps me keep my sanity and blog about something I love – Fashion. xo Natasha

    3. Oh…that is so true…that “life isn’t always as it seems! Like I say in one of my other posts…..and on the feature video that the IDA asked me to do for them…” I had come out from a small market one day last year. Now, mind you, I wear AFO’s (2 leg braces), 2 knee braces with metal knee joint plates, 2 hearing aids from nerve hearing loss with the TBI. I walk with a cane for short errands ,but I have a walker & wheelchair for longer trips. Now mind you…I don’t put on all of my “armor” to pick up eggs from the little market! That day I had only my cane! But I came out from the mkt and on my car was a note! I’ll never forget it because it was written on a paper napkin in purple ink; & stuck under my windshield washer! I started to cry and cry! The note said (& I do have a blue, permanent HC parking card from my Dr.’s)…”how dare you take a HC spot! You don’t look HC!!! It must be “mental thing”!!! Then they wrote ; “i hope you become HC forever so you know what it fees like!,” (then a few other choice, nasty words followed). I grabbed my cane out of the cart and cried and cried! But this is a perfect example that life and things …are not as they may appear….anyways longer than I had expected…sorry…have a wonderful life! Bess you!..Suzanne
